Daniel 7’s dominion is here named as present possession. Nothing is reserved for a later coronation.
Authority in heaven and earth is total world-order language. It is what the risen Son holds before the disciples leave the mountain.
Matthew began with a king-genealogy and ends with a king-commission. Baptising nations and teaching His commands is how that authority runs in public.
A church that preaches a King who does not yet have authority is not preaching Matthew’s last page.
The authority is His. New Creation discipleship is obedience under a seated King.
