God has fixed a day to judge the world in righteousness by the Man He raised from the dead.
He has fixed a day in which He will judge the world in righteousness through a Man whom He has appointed, having furnished proof to all men by raising Him from the dead.
The appointed day is not an endless deferral. It stands within the prophetic and apostolic horizon of judgment on the old order and vindication of the risen Lord.
The risen Man is already appointed; the Day of the Lord closed the Old Covenant age in AD 70 while the Kingdom remains.
